Teaching business leaders how to “fish”

Going forward often means first taking a step back. Typically, the first reaction when leaders are motivated to communicate is to say … “we need to do an advertising campaign,” “let’s send an email to all employees,” or “I need a slide presentation.”

In short, most leaders go straight to the tactics not having thought through the context, audience needs, key messages to be delivered, and the timing.

At Kairos our first job is to back up the train and take you through a simple, yet effective process that grounds your every communications with a clear sense of strategy and purpose. We do this via an interview, capture and playback process using a tool known as a “communications tetrad.”

Once leaders become trained and grounded in using this process and tool, they can do the “fishing” themselves. It is a proven approach leading to well thought out and effective communications.
